(Just turn up to your campsite and register with the campsite office. The gravel route campsites are tent only. If camping in a tent is not your thing, most other campsites we use have cabins. Let us know in advance, and we will plan what's best with you)

(covering everything you need to know about the ride. We will let you know where the best places are to camp, eat, get fuel and activities to do when you are not making tracks on two wheels)

If the weather turns bad...
Stay at camp until it’s clear enough to ride. We won’t mind if your late back due to bad weather. Safety first! (The adventure route on this trip is pretty remote, so play it safe and take it slow. You will have an epic time)

(There’s a number on the lid of your topbox for AA road side assist. Or call us and we will sort you out in a jiffy)

(First Aid Kit, Battery Jump-starter and a Tire Puncture Repair Kit.This is our usual kit when riding an adventure bike. We just feel it comes with the territory)

Experience black water rafting in the Waitomo Caves, after a morning tour of the Hobbiton Movie Set. Before embarking on a ride though the twisting roads and lush forest towards the world class surf beach in Raglan... arrive and settle in to your campsite for an epic sunset, and tuck into a hot paper wrap of Fish'n Chips!
If you're into gravel roads… then we highly recommend doing the gravel adventure route between Raglan and Mokau. This may take an extra day, or can be done in place of the Hobbiton/Waitomo Caves activities.
Raglan and Waitomo is the perfect Moto escape for those needing to get away for the weekend…

This Moto adventure through Waitomo and Raglan is suitable for intermediate riders. (Take it slow on the gravel sections, I’m usually in first, second or third gear along these gravel routes)
